Selected topics in NMR spectroscopy

Ph.D. -course

Course description

Examination Support Material

Access to the course requires admission to PhD programme at The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.

The course is the equivalent of KJEM352 . Students taking KJEMPHD952 receive an extra workload from the course coordinator in the form of additional mandatory assignments. This may, for example, involve familiarizing oneself with:

  • Different schemes for frequency discrimination, lineshapes and signal phases in 2D NMR spectra
  • How NMR spectometers work (related to theory), including RF transmitter/receiver, digitizing the signal, and quadrature detection.
