Course description
Learning Outcomes
After completing PHYS212 students should be able to:
- know the terminology and explain key features of the involved modalities, including an understanding of related physical modeling and presentation of results
- apply the acquired knowledge on basic physics principles to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the various modalities, i.e. photon therapy versus heavy ion therapy
- complete a student project as part of the course and communicate findings to fellow students

Compulsory Assignments and Attendance
Approved student project is compulsory. Approved projects are valid for 2 years.
Grading Scale
The grading scale used is A to F. Grade A is the highest passing grade in the grading scale, grade F is a fail.
