Research
Our research ranges from basic cell biology to the development of new treatments, with particular strengths in neuroscience, cancer research, drug discovery and cardiovascular research.

Studies
The department teaches basic biological subjects to medicine and dentistry students, and offers master's programmes in biomedicine, pharmacy, nanoscience and molecular biology. Several courses are also open to students in other programmes. As a master's student you become part of the department's research community, with access to core facilities and research groups.
