Boards, councils and committees
Department council
The department council at the Department of Health Promotion and Development is an advisory body that supports academic development, quality and strategic direction at the department. The council includes representatives of staff and students, and works to strengthen dialogue, participation and decision-making at the department.
The council's size, composition and competency is guided by UiB's rules for governing bodies [Norwegian].
Board of education
The board of education at the Department for Health Promotion and Development handles cases regarding the study programs and subjects taught at the department. The board is led by the head of education, and includes representatives from the study programs, temporary staff, administration and the students.
