Bergen Anthropology Day 2026
On Friday, 25 September, the Chr. Michelsen Institute and the Department of Social Anthropology invite all interested parties to Bergen Anthropology Day.
Bergen Anthropology Day (BAD) is organised jointly by the Department of Social Anthropology, CMI, and the University Museum of Bergen. The event brings together anthropologists from research institutions across the city, offering an opportunity to learn more about the breadth of anthropological research environments, international collaborations, and ongoing projects in Bergen.
The programme will showcase new and ongoing research through presentations and discussions highlighting the diversity of anthropological scholarship currently taking place across Bergen's institutions. All interested parties are warmly welcome. Lunch will be served.
