Ph.D. candidate at the University of Bergen focusing on understanding the genetic underpinnings of early childhood growth and the link to obesity. I am interested in how genetic variation contributes to disease and my work focuses on using genomics approaches such as GWAS and PRS using the data from the MoBa study and bridging the knowledge through functional studies and molecular biology research.

I have an MSc. in Molecular Biology with a minor in Genomics and Systems Biology and in the past three years have developed my molecular biology techniques experience through a research assistant position in the private sector.

I enjoy taking on new projects and working with new people as it allows me to grow professionally and personally.
