Work
The ctenophore culture facility at the Sars Centre supports research activities developed by the Burkhardt group. Since 2018, the facility has maintained a stable culture of the comb jelly Mnemiopsis leidyi. Thanks to a complete facility renovation in 2021, we have expanded our expertise to include fivee species. other ctenophor Beroe cucumis, Beroe gracilis, Bolinopsis infundibulum, Euplokamis dunlapae, and Pleurobrachia pileus.
