I am researching the governance and development of the education system, with a particular focus on:

• Accountability and assessment
• Competence development in teacher education and the profession
• How the school system meets students with different needs

In an ongoing study, we are looking at the role of private actors in public education.

The project maps the interaction between schools and guidance services in Vestland County municipality. We have collaborated with the Section for Quality Vestland County Municipality on the project, which was carried out under the state-funded scheme "Kompetansløftet for special pedagogy and inclusive practice".
