Research
I am Kazi Asraful Alam, a molecular biologist, and a protein chemist, working as a postdoctoral researcher in the PRIME project, Horizon 2020 research program (https://prime-study.eu/) at the University of Bergen. My project involves studying ion channels, their function, and the genetic variant of these channels associated with neurodegenerative diseases using the Chemo-genomics approach. I have a wide range of experienced working on structure-based drug design, Chemoinformatics, Protein kinase, T cell biology, and Natural killer cells (NK). I did my master's in Protein Science followed by a Ph.D. in structural studies of protein kinase inhibitor binding.
