Research

I have been working consistently for decades with the underlying theoretical and philosophical presuppositions of social sciences, and the limitations related to these. I lecture all new PhD students within the social sciences in Bergen, in addition to having published articles and completed NRC projects on this topic.

I have also elaborated and published about the importance of the meaning dimension in politics. I have done important comparative studies (e.g. politics of biotechnology in UK and Norway), and extensive fieldwork in India. I also have an extensive academic network in India and have lectured at some of the most prestigious Indian universities (as JNU and Central University Hyderabad).
