Register in Studentweb
You must register in Studentweb every semester. Studentweb will open for registration in mid-December for the spring semester and 1 July for the autumn semester.
You will have to:
- update your address
- register for courses (both lectures and exams)
- confirm your individual education plan for the semester
- generate semester fee invoice to be paid (if applicable)
The final deadline for registration is 1 February for the spring semester and 1 September for the autumn semester.
Please note that some courses may have an earlier deadline for class registration.
Find your checklist in UiBtreet
In UiBtreet you will find a checklist that gives you an overview of the most important tasks that need to be completed each semester. UiBtreet also gives you confirmation when you have registered for the semester and paid the semester fee (if applicable).
Course schedules and reading lists
You will find all courses schedules on the UiBs website.
Inquiries regarding course schedules, semester start and registration, must be addressed to the Information Centre at your faculty.
Exam overview and date
A complete overview of all exam dates and locations is available on the website examination overview and locations
- All the exams dates will also be announced on Mitt UiB.
- An overview of all your exams and a check list with practical information to help you prepare for your exams will be available UiBtreet
NB! It is each student’s responsibility to ensure that their exams do not crash.
Students with disabilities or impairments
Students with disabilities or impairments that would need accommodations during lectures, group activies or exams can apply for support during their stay at UIB. All faculties have a designated contact person that can assist students with individual accommodations during the semester and exams.

Students ID app
The student ID app is proof of your student status at UIB.
- The student ID app can be uploaded after completing your UIB semester registration (Studentweb).
- Download the app in Google Play, App Store or Windows Store.
