Updated knowledge among healthcare professionals, patients, and women in general is essential to ensure that women with cardiovascular disease receive equitable healthcare. Equitable care does not necessarily mean providing the same care as that offered to men. For women in particular, access to reliable, evidence-based, and advertisement-free information on women’s health is of great importance.
The panel discussion was organized by the Nasjonalt senter for kvinnehelseforskning (external link) which has been commissioned by the Norwegian Ministry of Health and Care Services to establish the Kvinnehelseportalen (Women’s Health Portal)
