I am a classical philologist specialising in late antiquity, focusing on Greek and early Christian literature. I earned my BA and MA in Classics from the University of Udine and a degree in Humanistic Studies from the Scuola Superiore “Di Toppo Wassermann” at the same university.
My doctoral research, completed at “La Sapienza” University of Rome (2020), focused on Eudocia Augusta’s St. Cyprian. After my PhD, I joined the ERC Consolidator Grant project “AntCoCo” in Bamberg, Germany, where I worked on late antique imperial constitutions and a commented English translation of the Acts of the Councils of Constantinople and Jerusalem (536).
As a member of the RADheart team, I will return to Christian Greek poetry and investigate the language of emotions in the works of authors such as Eudocia, Nonnus of Panopolis, and Gregory of Nazianzus.
