In my research, I focus on education quality assurance in times of crisis. As the Covid-19 pandemic demonstrated, a crisis can put a lot of pressure on the systems which governments put into place to ensure the quality of education. To see how different systems change and why, I use a comparative cross-national case study, focusing on Norway, England and The Netherlands during the pandemic. This will provide more insight into fundamental aspects of quality assurance, and provide useful information for the further development of resilient systems.
