Course description

Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of this course, students should be able to:

  • Apply systematic design methods and use advanced design tools for modeling, simulation, manufacturing, testing and documentation of electronics.
  • Describe digital circuits at various abstraction levels using VHDL.
  • Design and optimize vector based and array based computational and storage logic.
  • Discuss clocking networks, power distribution networks, IO-circuits and packaging technologies relevant for complex electronics systems.


Grading Scale
The grading scale used is A to F. Grade A is the highest passing grade in the grading scale, grade F is a fail.
