Course description
Objectives and Content
Objectives:
The course aims to give students a thorough description of data acquisition and real-time systems
Content:
The topics include computer architecture, I/O subsystems, real-time and concurrent systems, inter-process communication and interrupts, network technologies and protocols. As examples methods and systems used in large-scale experiments in physics are discussed. There will be an emphasis on hands-on work.
