My PhD Research focuses on gender provisions and provisions for women in ceasefire agreements. I leverage both quantitative and qualitative methodologies in my dissertation project.

I am also a non-residential Civil War Paths Fellow with the Civil War Paths Project.

My academic interests outside of my PhD research span feminist activism during conflict, conflict trends, and women’s participation in peacebuilding activities.

Before starting my PhD, I worked as a Research Assistant at the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO) and the Department for Peace and Conflict Research at Uppsala University. I worked on several projects at PRIO, primarily related to conflict trends, women's participation in ceasefires, and civil society and women's representation in UN structures. I have also served as an election monitor in the United Kingdom and Poland.

I hold an MSSc in Peace and Conflict Studies from the Department of Peace and Conflict Research at Uppsala University where my research focused on the impact of private military and security companies on men's and women's security in African countries. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences from Quest University Canada.
