Short info

My PhD project focuses on the genomic characterization of human-infecting Cryptosporidium species to better understand their genetic makeup and potential epidemiological links in Norway.
Research

I am a veterinarian interested in infectious diseases, parasitology, and public health with a research focus on parasitic genomics, molecular epidemiology and the molecular diagnostics and genotyping of zoonotic parasites.

Outreach

My outreach activities focus on raising awareness of waterborne parasites, particularly Cryptosporidium and Giardia, and their impact on child health. I engage with healthcare professionals, veterinarians and the public health personnel to promote understanding of prevention and control strategies.
