Open debate meeting 15.06.23 on NOU 5/23: Women's health and gender differences in health (The Women's Health Report)
The Center for Research on Heart Disease in Women at the University of Bergen (UiB) invites to a debate on how Haukeland University Hospital and the Faculty of Medicine at UiB will address key shortcomings highlighted in the report, particularly the lack of dissemination of knowledge to healthcare professionals and students in health-related education programs.
The report identified important measures that must be implemented to ensure that modern knowledge about gender differences in health and disease benefits patients. The report is currently under public consultation. In this context, the Center for Research on Heart Disease in Women at the University of Bergen (UiB) invites to a debate on how Haukeland University Hospital and the Faculty of Medicine at UiB will follow up on the central issues raised, especially the failure to ensure that knowledge reaches healthcare professionals and students in health-related education programs.
