Webinar: Women’s role in academia; evidence from research, at the Center for Research on Heart Disease in Women
Speaker: Marc Lerchenmueller, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Business Administration, University of Mannheim, Germany, and researcher at Yale School of Management, USA.
There are many reasons behind gender disparities in academia. These differences are not due to lower productivity, but have been suggested to stem from women receiving less recognition than men for equal achievements. Understanding why women receive less recognition is one of the key topics Marc Lerchenmueller has explored in his research.
