This year’s program opened with an engaging lecture by Associate Professor Ann-Katrin Grotle from Western Norway University of Applied Sciences on the regulation of circulation during physical activity and how this changes with aging and after menopause.

Professor Tone M. Norekvål presented her Florence Nightingale lecture, delivered on the occasion of receiving the European Society of Cardiology’s Silver Medal at the congress in London in August 2024.

Several of the Center’s junior researchers showcased their international research presentations from 2024, held at leading international conferences. The 20 participants engaged in lively discussions before concluding with the traditional Christmas Quiz.

Truly a day full of inspiration!
