Autumn and Spring (5th and 6th semester)
Required Previous Knowledge
Completion of the four first semesters of Bachelor programme in nutrition
Teaching and learning methods

Lectures on scientific methods, the use of scientific references and libraries, statistics and presentation techniques.

The students are expected to work independently under supervision.

The thesis should be of about 5,000 to 8,000 words (without references, appendices, tables). Students are expected to give an oral presentation of the thesis (10 minutes) in addition to a discussion (max. 10 minutes).

Compulsory Assignments and Attendance

Participation at 80% of all lectures and at the bachelor seminar where the students present their thesis.

Permitted levels of artificial intelligence (AI) according to the guidelines of the Faculty of Medicine: Use of artificial intelligence (AI) at the Faculty of Medicine | Faculty of Medicine | UiB:
Level A through Level C.

Use of AI must be indicated in a self-declaration at the end of the assignment, before the reference list.

If the use of AI is discovered to be inconsistent with the specified levels, it will be considered as use of illegal aids and regarded as cheating.

Course Evaluation
