What the Event Office does
The Event Office is responsible for planning and running events hosted by the university leadership, such as conferences, ceremonies, lectures, receptions and dinners. We focus on quality in every event and work closely with the organizers.
The office manages the university's official venues and helps with planning, technical support, staffing, cleaning and rental. The Event Office is organized under the university leadership.
Venues you can rent
The university rents out several venues for events. Some are reserved for staff and students, while others can also be rented by cultural, public and business organizations.
Universitetsaulaen (the University Aula)
Muséplassen 3. Used for ceremonies, conferences, lectures, concerts, receptions and dinners, and can be rented by both the university and external organizations.

Villaveien 9. Used for doctoral dinners and to mark major occasions at the university.

Villaveien 9, in Knut Fægris hus. Suitable for smaller gatherings for staff and students.

Botanical garden at Milde. Can be rented by staff and student organizations for events hosted by UiB.
