VIS (Vestlandets Innovasjonsselskap) is UiB's tool for taking ideas with innovative potential out into socially useful and commercial services and products. VIS helps with commercialization, patenting and business development, and is owned in part by UiB.
Eitri – health incubator
Eitri is an innovation centre for health and medicine, owned by UiB and Helse Bergen and run together with VIS. Eitri offers specialized support for health innovation, including advice, office space and professional events.
