What we do
We organise debates on the conditions that shape knowledge, research and higher education. Our events explore questions such as how knowledge is produced, what influences research, and the role universities play in society.
Most meetings are held in Norwegian - see Norwegian site for upcomming events.
The topics cover a wide range of issues, from academic freedom and the credibility of research to climate change, democracy and the digitalisation of education. All events are free and open to everyone, including staff, students and members of the public.
Since 2009, we have helped bring higher education and research policy into public debate through more than 150 events.
How we are organised
A working group of nine members from different academic disciplines plans and organices the events. The working group consists of: Anders Johansen, Tor Halvorsen, Henriette Sinding Aasen, Ingjald Pilskog (ekstern lenke), Kristoffer Jul-Larsen (ekstern lenke), Paul Bernhard Lund, Astri Andresen, Nils Gunnar Songstad og Tord Rø.
