About the premises
The UiB Brussels Office is located at NOHRI – the Norwegian House of Research and Innovation – in the European Quarter in Brussels, sharing premises with NTNU and SINTEF. The address is Guimardstraat 9, 1040 Brussels. The facilities are available to UiB staff by arrangement.
Rooms and capacity
The office has two meeting rooms, Fjord and Foss, which you can use separately or combine into one large room.
Fjord – the largest room
Seats up to 24 people at tables, or 48 in a theatre layout.
- Equipment: two large screens, one mobile screen, one camera, two ceiling microphones, six speakers, HDMI/USB/Clickshare and Wi-Fi.
- Up to 24 tables with USB and power (12 comfortably).
- Up to 88 chairs (40 comfortably).
Foss – the smallest room
Seats up to 18 people at tables, or 36 in a theatre layout.
- Equipment: two mobile screens, one camera, four ceiling speakers, HDMI/USB/Clickshare and Wi-Fi.
- Up to 24 tables with USB and power (9 comfortably).
- Up to 88 chairs (36 comfortably).
Fjord + Foss combined
You can combine the rooms into one room that seats up to 40 people at tables.
- Equipment: two large and two mobile screens, two cameras, three ceiling microphones, ten speakers, HDMI/USB/Clickshare and Wi-Fi.
- 88 chairs and 24 tables with USB and power.

Meeting rooms can be booked via the link below. The two workstations in the office can also be used by UiB staff working from Brussels – bookings are made the same way. The Brussels Office has several guides for using the meeting rooms and hosting events in Brussels which are available upon request
