Work

The title of my PhD project is Exploring the Complexities of Parenting: A Research Project Examining Parental Experiences Across Diverse Family Situations and Developmental Stages. The project is based on data from two collaborative projects with the Stine Sofie Foundation (Stine Sofies Stiftelse, SSS) and explores parenting self-efficacy, stress, mental health, parenting strategies, and the parent–child relationship across various contexts.

My first article is titled TOPSE for babies in Norwegian: Examining the Reliability of a Tool to Measure Parenting Self-Efficacy. This article investigates the psychometric properties of the Norwegian version of a tool designed to measure parenting self-efficacy among parents of infants aged 0–6 months.

The second article is titled Parenting after Child Maltreatment: Maternal Parenting Strategies and the Parent–Child Relationship, and explores parenting strategies and the parent–child relationship among non-offending mothers and their children (aged 5–11 years) with maltreatment experiences.

The third and final article in my PhD will examine the association between socioeconomic status and mental health, parenting stress, and parenting self-efficacy among parents of infants aged 4–6 weeks.
