Short info

I’m a physical geographer. My research, teaching and supervision may be summarised as water-related studies. I want to improve our understanding of the role of water as a geomorphic agent, a vital resource and a potential hazard.
Research

My research focuses on how water has shaped the landscape in the past and how current climate change and human activity affect the hydrological systems. This includes examining where and how water flows through the landscape, which in turn affects water quality. My studies primarily focus on glacial and karst landscapes, and within the displines of speleology (i.e., cave research), hydrogeology, and geomorphology.
