Research

The research project for the Ph.D. is about biogeochemical cycles in the deep sedimentary biosphere. Life in this part of the biosphere lives under severe energy constraints and our knowledge about their influence on chemical fluxes under these limitations is relatively unknown. The project aims to gain more insight into their activities.
