Ritha Anderson Willilo is a Ph.D. candidate in healthcare economics and priority-setting at the Bergen Centre of Ethics and Priority Setting (BCEPS),  Department of Global Health and Primary Care within the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Bergen, Norway.

Ritha Willilo's research interests include priority-setting in health systems, healthcare economics, vaccine-preventable diseases,  inequality in health, surveillance, emergence, preparedness, and response, how to achieve Universal Health Coverage, and Sustainable Development Goals for Health.

Before embarking on the Ph.D. program, Ritha worked with the World Health Organization (WHO) in Tanzania, serving as a surveillance officer for vaccine-preventable diseases (VPD) aiming at advancing Universal Health Coverage in immunization, epidemic preparedness, and responses to health emergencies. Ritha also gained valuable experience through her previous roles at RTI International and the Palladium Group—MEASURE Evaluation Project. Her diverse background reflects a commitment to addressing critical issues in global health and making meaningful contributions to the field.
