Position

Postdoctoral Fellow, Legal archaeology of asylum cases in Scandinavia

Affiliation

Short info

In my postdoc position, I conduct a legal archaeology study of asylum litigation in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. I will look at how expert knowledge is being applied and discussed, identify legal tactics and thresholds, and situate the cases in a broader social, political and historical context.
Research

My PhD examined the re-emergence of citizenship deprivation in Norway, both from the perspective of the state and its subjects as well as situating the practice in a longer historical perspective.
