Sissel is a biologist with a PhD from the University of Bergen and extensive experience in molecular biology and developmental biology. She has worked with experimental and data-driven approaches and has a strong commitment to scientific communication.
Research

Sissel has extensive experience with both experimental and data‑driven methodologies, including gene expression analyses, microscopy, in situ hybridization, RNA sequencing, and quantitative image analysis. Her research has primarily focused on the development and environmental modulation of neuronal and sensory systems, and she has contributed to several interdisciplinary projects integrating molecular techniques, physiology, and comparative biology. Sissel has published scientific articles, presented at international conferences, and has experience in project coordination, data processing, and the communication of complex biological findings
