Gjør kloke valg
Leder av Den norske legeforenings styringsgruppe for kampanjen Gjør kloke valg.
Kampanjens formål er å redusere undersøkelser og behandling som pasienter ikke har nytte av og som føre til skade. Kampanjen feiret fem år i september 2023 og ved den anledning gjorde vi oss noen refleksjoner i denne kronikken og arrangerte et jubileumsseminar som kan ses i opptak her. På de fem første årene har vi oppnådd mye større bevissthet om overaktivitet blant helsepersonell, beslutningstakere og til dels også i befolkningen. Vi satser i økende grad på implementeringsprosjekter for å redusere overaktivitet, som laboratorieprosjektet "Ikke stikk meg uten grunn" og "Bærekraft på legekontoret", det sistnevnte prosjektet som et samarbeid mellom Norsk forening for allmennmedisin og forskere ved UiB og NTNU (se egen fane).
Bærekraft på legekontoret
Det er førsteamanuensis Stefán Hjörleifsson ved IGS/UiB og professor Linn Okkenhaug Getz som har tatt initiativ til Bærekraft på legekontoret. Fra februar 2023 utvikles prosjektet i samarbeid med Norsk forening for allmennmedisin. Prosjektet har sitt utgangspunkt i kampanjen Gjør kloke valg og erkjennelsen av at vår solidariske, offentlige helsetjeneste er truet fordi ressursene ikke brukes godt nok. Målet er å motvirke medisinsk overaktivitet og ikke-bærekraftig bruk av den felles, offentlige helsetjenesten i Norge. Virkemidlene utvikles i samarbeid med blant annet SKIL og Noklus, og er beskrevet på prosjektets hjemmeside. Legeforeningens Fond for kvalitetsarbeid og pasientsikkerhet støttet prosjektet for første gang med 1.000.000 kroner i 2023 og har gitt samme beløp til prosjektet i 2024.
