Research
Vladan has a PhD in molecular medicine from the University of Turin, Italy, where he investigated the potential role of malignant pleural mesotheliomastem cells in the development of the chemo resistant and immuneresistant phenotype of this highly aggressive tumor. He is currently a researcher in the Östman and Akslen groups, aiming to identify novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets of aggressive breast cancer through high-multiplex profiling of the tumor microenvironment using the Hyperion Imaging Mass Cytometry platform.
