I am the board leader of the West-Norwegian Cardiology Association (VCF: https://www.vestnorskcardiologisk.no). CF organizes two annual meetings for cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, internists, and medical students. Starting in 2027, I will also chair the annual national meeting in cardiology organized by the Norwegian Society of Cardiology.

Current teaching activities:

-theoretical and practical courses in basic echocardiography, valvular heart disease and heart failure (UiB)

-theoretical and practical courses in aortic valve disease, cardiac function, basic and advanced echocardiography (the Norwegian Medical Association)

-theoretical course in research directions in valvular heart disease (NORHEART - the Norwegian PhD School of Heart Research)

-theoretical course in global cardiovascular health (part of the MD course Global Health - challenges and responses, UiB)
