Dr. Inger Hilde Nordhus is a clinical geropsychologist and has been a professor of clinical psychology at Department of Clinical Psychology, Faculty of Psychology at the University of Bergen (UiB), Norway, and an adjunct professor of behavioural medicine at Institute of Basic Medical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine at the University of Oslo (UiO), Norway. Her research interests are:
- Studies of ageing in an interdisciplinary perspective
- Assessment and treatment of sleep disorders in older adults and in dementia
- Measurement and multicomponent interventions of late-life anxiety and sleep disorders in patients with comorbid conditions
- Psychosocial interventions in primary care and in long-term care environments
- Curriculum issues in developing scientific training and environments for young researchers
