Research

Ingvild Sandøy is a Professor of global public health and Director of the Bergen Centre for Ethics and Priority Setting in Health (BCEPS; https://www.uib.no/en/bceps), a Centre of Excellence in research  established in 2023, and she is the Deputy director of the Centre for Intervention Science in Maternal and Child Health (CISMAC; https://www.cismac.org/), another Centre of Excellence established in 2013. She is also Co-Director of Development Learning Lab (DLL; https://www.devlearnlab.no/).

Her research fields are global public health, sexual and reproductive health (with a focus on low and middle income countries), and social epidemiology and prevention.
