My research focuses on the North Atlantic and Arctic regions, particularly Norse Greenland, Iceland, and Norway, investigating how past societies adapted to climate variability, environmental change, and resource challenges. Through the analysis of animal remains, other archaeological evidence, and environmental records, I explore long-term patterns of resilience, sustainability, and cultural transformation. My research also examines outfield resource use, mobility, maritime economies, and the emergence of complex coastal societies.

I have been an instructor at the annual  AHKR Archaeological Field Course (ARK307) since 2021.
