Research

I have a PhD from University of Oslo (2007). My work is grounded in feminist and media studies, including theoretical perspectives on affect and emotion and critical psychological perspectives on well-being. In short my work addresses empirically grounded exploration of affective and intimate practices in the context of digital and visual media cultures. I explore how affect and emotion are woven through how we express ourselves, and how these affective discursive practices constitute subjectivities and feelings of belonging, including collective and political actions.
