Dr Monica Grini's research focuses on historiography, museology, and the agency of objects. She has written extensively about representations of Sámi and Nordic art, global art and transnational networks, and national predicaments in the discipline of art history.
Research

Her most recent book is Samisk kunst og norsk kunsthistorie. Delvise forbindelser (2021). Forthcoming book: (Post)colonial Norway: Interdisciplinary Studies on Norway’s Entanglement with Colonialism and its Aftermath, edited together with Christa Wirth.
