Work
My work mainly lies in the intersections between social inequality, air/atmosphere, energy transition(s), toxicity/pollution, and public health. I have conducted fieldwork in petrochemical fenceline communities where I'm interested in the varied ways in which residents work toward transition, clean air, and more equitable futures. More broadly, my work pertains to pressing global issues of pollution and industrial modes of production - and importantly how these issues are negotiated and given expression at a local level.
