What is a master's thesis?
The master's thesis is the last task you will complete in a master's programme. Each master's programme has its own academic requirements and recommendations for the master's thesis. One factor that all master’s programmes have in common is that you will be a researcher and gain specialist expertise in the topic and method of your choice.
Supervision during work
Many students find the process of writing/creating their master's thesis/project to be especially fun, since they get to be very independent. However, it is not the case that you will be alone during the whole process. You will be appointed a supervisor that will help you.
Presentation and oral adjustment exam
In some master's programmes, the master's project must be presented, and in others you have an oral exam. Here, too, the academic requirements come into play. You can find what applies to your master's thesis in the course description.
