Order your academic transcript

If you need a transcript of records with a digital signature, you can order it in Studentweb.

How to order a transcript

You can order a digitally signed transcript in Studentweb (external link) under "Orders" in the top menu. Your transcript will be available under" Documents" after approximately 10 minutes.

If you are no longer a student at UiB (i.e. you do not have active study rights), you can still log in via ID-porten. If you are not able to use ID-porten, please contact international@uib.no for assistance.

Transcripts are available in Bokmål, Nynorsk or English.

Transcript of records with digital signature

The transcript

  • is verified with a digital signature that is only verified if the PDF has not been modified by others. This means that it is not valid if you print it on paper.
  • shows results from all courses you have passed at UiB and is marked with the UiB logo.
  • shows the grade distribution for each individual subject.
  • cannot be withdrawn. This is only possible with the link you share via the Diploma Registry (external link).
  • is valid until the certificate on the digital signature expires, normally after two years.
