Norwegian Language Café

Do you know some Norwegian, and want to become better? Or maybe you just want to get to know other students better? Then this might be the place for you.

What happens at the Language Café?

The Language Café is an offer for those of you who want to improve your Norwegian, or want an open social arena to get to know other students.

When you arrive at the Language Café, you will be seated at a table with four to five other students. Together you will practice Norwegian through fun activities such as "Alias" and "Language-jenga". The conversations will mostly take place in Norwegian.

The Language Café is led by two language mentors, who are students themselves. Snacks and coffee will be served.

When is the Language Café?

Language Café is held every other week on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 16:00 to 18.00. If you can only participate for part of the time, that’s absolutely fine.

  • Humanities Library: Wednesdays in even-numbered weeks.
    Starts Wednesday, September 3.
  • Alrek Health Cluster: Thursdays in odd-numbered weeks.
    Starts Thursday, August 28.
