Welcome to the opening of the 2026–2027 academic year!

During the welcome ceremony, we celebrate the beginning of a new academic year for our new and returning students and staff.

We hope to see as many of you as possible at the welcome ceremony!

This year’s ceremony will take place on Monday, 10 August at 09:45 at Muséplass. The ceremony is open to everyone.

The venue opens for admission at 09:00, and we recommend arriving well in advance of the ceremony start at 09:45. Dress according to the weather. Umbrellas may obstruct the view for others and create crowding. We therefore recommend rainwear if needed.

The ceremony will take place from 9:45 a.m. to approximately 10:45 a.m.
