The Student Welfare Organisation (Sammen) (external link)also offers guidance services, including career advice (external link), mental health services (external link), and the student chaplain (external link).
The university’s responsibilities regarding academic guidance:
- To provide clear and up-to-date information about the guidance services available, including easily accessible services and advisors who respond helpfully to student enquiries, also in English
- To ensure that guidance services are available to you by appointment
- To provide academic advisors who can support you with subject choices and study progression
- To maintain efficient and professional case-handling routines
The university expects you as a student to
- familiarise yourself with the available information about your courses, degree programme, and academic options
- keep appointments you’ve made for guidance sessions
The university recommends that you
- make use of the student guidance services (external link) when you’re facing difficult academic choices or need help with planning your studies
