Grieg Academy Kulturnatt
Experience a wide range of musical expressions as students from the Grieg Academy and young musical talents take to the University Aula during this year’s Kulturnatt. Across four concerts, the evening will feature everything from classical masterpieces to innovative contemporary music in one of Bergen’s most beautiful concert halls.
This year, the Grieg Academy, part of the Faculty of Fine Art, Music and Design (KMD), is delighted to host Kulturnatt in the University Aula and invites audiences to enjoy a series of concerts performed by the Academy’s students. Pupils from the Grieg Academy Young Talents Programme will also take part, alongside a special surprise guest.
The programme embraces a broad musical spectrum, ranging from classical piano works by Edvard Grieg and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart to new music for Norwegian frame drum, solo repertoire for piccolo flute, and works by Django Reinhardt performed on classical guitar.
Four concerts with different programmes will be presented throughout the evening. Performances begin at 6.00 pm, 7.00 pm, 8.00 pm and 9.00 pm, each lasting approximately 30 minutes.

Free admission. Christie Café will remain open throughout the evening.
