Did you know that acute heart failure can be triggered by intense emotions or stress – and that it most often affects women?

On Monday, September 29, Kringeland will give a lecture on Broken Heart Syndrome. This condition, also known as Takotsubo Syndrome, was first described in 1990 and is characterized by sudden heart failure that is often mistaken for a heart attack – but requires a different treatment approach.

Join us for an engaging and insightful presentation on a condition that predominantly affects women.

The seminar is hosted by the Center for Research on Heart Disease in Women.

Everyone is welcome!
