Cancer survival has never been higher, but many continue to live with late effects that may impact heart health. This is particularly true for women and for individuals who have been treated for breast cancer.
In this seminar, cardiologist and associate professor Helga Midtbø will guide us into the rapidly expanding field of cardio-oncology, where modern cancer therapy meets cardiovascular health, and where new knowledge can contribute to safer follow-up and improved quality of life for women during and after cancer treatment.
The seminar is organized by the Center for Research on Heart Disease in Women.
