The Centre at Arendalsuka 2025: Heart Health Is Not Gender-Neutral – Can E-Health Be?
A packed house attended the debate on women's heart health and the lack of equitable healthcare services for men and women with heart disease.

The debate opened with brief presentations by Professors Eva Gerdts and Tone Norekvål. Associate Professor Leonora Onarheim Bergsjø from Østfold University College / Centre for E-Health at the University of Agder moderated the discussion. Participants included State Secretary Ellen Rønning-Arnesen from the Ministry of Health and Care Services, Secretary General Magne Wang Fredriksen from Landsforeningen for hjerte- og lungesyke, and Helén Botnevik, First Deputy Chair, Norske Kvinners Sanitetsforening
The event was a collaboration between the Centre, the University of Agder, Haukeland University Hospital, Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, and valued partners.
